Our flagship initiative, the Swarozgar Fellowship, nurtures early-stage entrepreneurs through mentoring, training, and networks, while our other programs focus on career exploration, encouraging alternative solutions and livelihood development for youth.

What This Role Entails

We are seeking a Program Associate - Design and Facilitation who will take on dual responsibilities of facilitation and curriculum design support. This role is central to ensuring that our programs are learner-centered and context-driven. The Program Associate will facilitate sessions across Margshala’s programs while also collaborating on designing and improving curriculum and overall program impact.

As a Facilitator, you will play a vital role in guiding youth, helping them develop their ideas and leadership skills. Your expertise in entrepreneurship, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative learning environment will contribute to the success of our learners.

If you are passionate about youth development, rural entrepreneurship, and experiential learning, and you enjoy both working with people and creating learning content, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities:

1. Facilitation and Learner Engagement
   • Serve as a facilitator for the Swarozgar Fellowship and other Margshala programs (both online and offline)
   • Deliver engaging, interactive sessions using participatory and experiential learning approaches, group discussions, and real-world case studies
   • Establish meaningful relationships with program participants, providing personalised mentoring and guidance throughout their learning journey
   • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for program delivery
2. Learner Progress Management
   • Track learner/fellow progress, review learner/fellow assignments and provide constructive, actionable feedback
   • Share observations and performance data to enhance learning along with programs & design teams
3. Program Design & Collaboration
   • Develop and adapt lesson plans, self-learning tasks, and learning materials tailored to rural youth and entrepreneurs
   • Collaborate with the Learning & Design team to align content with program objectives, ensuring practical and locally relevant learning
   • Share reports, documentation, and research inputs as needed on pedagogy and program effectiveness
   • Support in identifying and curating guest speakers/experts for specific sessions
   • Contribute to continuous program improvement through evidence-based recommendations
